Gosh, that sounds like my last pregnancy! I had back pain starting at six weeks that continued throughout my entire pregnancy. It sucks but my doctor said it’s normal for some women. I’m now 14 weeks with my second and my back doesn’t hurt too bad and it’s not constant.
When does that pain start? If you’re waking up with it, you may need to either change positions when you sleep (they say on your left side is best for baby) or, if you already are sleeping on your side, try using a pillow to put between your leg. When I did that, it worked wonders
If you’re experiencing the pain during the day, look at how you spend most of the day. Are you standing all day? Try sitting down with you back up against your chair and make sure you maintain good posture during the day (which eases the pressure you put on your back). If you spend all day at a desk, make sure you’re sitting up straight and try taking breaks to get up and move throughout the day. I also read somewhere that as counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise eases the pain by strengthening the back and abdominal muscles that are supporting you.
Hope that helps. I’m having more back pain now and some of these tips help me, some not so much. Try them out.
