UTI AZO brown pills, blood in urine, back pain.?
I’m a female/24 years old-This is in reply to my recent question regarding blood in urine.
-
I have been having UTI on and off for a year or two. First I took the AZO red cranberry pills. Now I bought the brown small pills.
I asked another question earlier and maybe this relates to it–
***
I am having blood in my urine,on an off UTI, on and off abdominal severe pain for 10+years. Could it be cysts or kidney stones? I’ve never had it checked because I simply cannot afford the doctor. I do not have health insurance, have a part time job an trying to get on food stamps.
I just finished my period so I thought the blood was from that but it’s not when I wipe.
I have been getting back pain on and off recently too. Clearly something is going on but I have no doctor.
Should I at least stop taking the AZO pills? Could they be making me feel worse?

Stop taking the pills and get to the ER. UTIs are considered medical emergencies because they can lead to kidney infections.
Oh Dear
You need to see a doctor straight away!
It sounds like you have a severe kidney infection and you need antibiotics immediately.
I prefer the juice of cranberry. Look for URAL at the pharmacy and drink it, if it sting when you pass urine.
Good luck, God bless you.
For one, you need to find a clinic. They have payment plans, so there is no excuse for not getting medical help.
In the mean time, the AZO, stop taking it. You need the real thing. Increase your intake of cranberry juice and water! I mean it. 3-4 liters a day you should be drinking to clean the urinary tract out along with any other toxins in your body.
Back pain is associated with UTI and is a sign of possible kidney stone that won’t pass.
In the bathroom, WIPE FROM FRONT TO BACK! UTI’s come from the bacteria from your anus going up into the urinary tract. Wiping in reverse does this. You need to wipe from front to back.
Also, sit up straight when you unrinate. This insures that your bladder will empty completely, to prevent urinary retention.
Hope this helps. Go get medical attention because your situation sounds like a kidney stone.
